THE ULTIMATE HYBRID SUPERCAR : THE FERRARI SF90 SPIDER
Ferrari has always been synonymous with high-performance sports cars that push the boundaries of automotive engineering. And their latest creation, the SF90 Spider, is no exception.
As the convertible version of the SF90 Stradale, the SF90 Spider boasts all of the same impressive features, but with the added benefit of open-air driving. And with a top speed of 211 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds, the SF90 Spider is the fastest and most powerful convertible that Ferrari has ever produced.
But what really sets the SF90 Spider apart is its hybrid powertrain. The car is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 769 horsepower, but it's also equipped with three electric motors that provide an additional 217 horsepower. This means that the SF90 Spider has a total power output of 986 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful production cars on the market today.
But the SF90 Spider isn't just about raw power. Ferrari has also focused on optimizing the car's aerodynamics and handling, with features like active flaps on the front and rear diffusers, and a new E-Diff system that enhances cornering performance.
And thanks to its hybrid powertrain, the SF90 Spider also delivers impressive fuel efficiency for a car of its caliber. The car can drive in electric-only mode for up to 15 miles, and it has a combined fuel economy rating of 18 mpg.
