Bugatti Mistral

Cars

The Bugatti Mistral is the last car produced by Bugatti to have a W16 Engine. The Mistral is based on the Bugatti Chiron Coupe and is said to be the Fastes Roadster Production Car in the world. There will only be 99 produced , with deliveries in 2024 and the car is already sold out.

The Last W16 Engine

The Bugatti quad-turbo W-16 is an engineering masterpiece and a symbol of pure excess, but the end of the incredible engine is nigh. This engine has been used for over a decade in Bugatti Production cars creating some of the fastest road vehicles in the world. Emission regulations have spelled the engine for large engines such as the V12 and W16 as manufactures start to drift towards electric vehicles and hybridisation. The engine is the existing 8.0-liter W-16, which features four turbochargers and produces 1578 horsepower. That's the same output as the Chiron that set the speed record in 2019. Power reaches the road through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. Bugatti hasn't released detailed performance claims for the Mistral but did say the car will have a top speed of at least 260 mph. We’re also told the company wants the Mistral to “become the fastest roadster in the world."

Look out for this car in the Near Future, you won't miss it.
